Overlooking the Gorges is a terrace with covered pergola, garden table and chairs and built-in barbecue allowing you to sit outside long into the evening. The large garden is made up of flower beds, rockeries and trees giving shade with a grassed area for children to play. The swimming pool directly behind the pergola has a walled flower border as a backdrop.
From the house you can walk, cycle or drive along lanes that climb ever higher through Florentin and Le Nayrac eventually reaching the Aubrac mountains some 45 minutes away by car. Here you will have the opportunity to see many varieties of wild flowers and birdlife especially in the Spring and Autumn. The small local towns of Entraygues (10 minutes by car), Estaing and Espalion have many attractions throughout the season from family-run shops and restaurants, street cafés, markets both during the daytime and in the evening to sporting facilities including canoeing, tennis, swimming and golf.
